v2.13.0 introduces the Epic equipment and distribution foundation, centralizes ability cooldowns and command recovery, completes the Monk Chi rotation, and expands Rogue, Priest, recovery, world, and operational tooling.
Epic equipment and distribution
- Adds 20 revisioned Epic definitions with explicit rarity, persistent identity, pinned source provenance, exact pending-claim recovery, and durable distribution telemetry.
- Enables ten directly obtainable Epic items across levels 30-60 through global, Ashen Caldera, Kharzun, and Vashj campaign rewards.
- Adds typed equipment effects, including Emberwake’s First Flame proc.
- Authors complete Silver Hand Paladin and Kirin Tor Mage sets, five slot tokens, and two-/four-piece effects. Set acquisition and activation remain disabled for the initial rollout.
- Implements Crest ledgers, recovery pricing, duplicate salvage, rerolls, and upgrades behind a separate disabled progression gate.
Cooldowns and command recovery
- Replaces synthetic cooldown affects with a metadata-driven cooldown registry and per-character ledger supporting stable IDs, shared lockouts, charges, offline policy, persistence, legacy conversion, and readiness announcements.
- Adds the
cooldownscommand and authoritativeChar.CooldownsGMCP snapshots. Ability reuse timers no longer appear as buffs inChar.Affects. - Preserves ordinary commands in a bounded FIFO during action recovery, coalesces selected combat actions, and allows audited communication to execute safely while recovery remains active.
Class and combat updates
- Completes the five-point Monk Chi rotation and supporting attack-power, cooldown, battlefield-control, healing, defense, and unarmed-combat changes.
- Adds Crippling Poison, Fan of Knives, and Cloak of Shadows to Rogue, with progression and combat-audio updates.
- Adds Fade, Psychic Scream, and Holy Nova to Priest; aligns Divine Aegis with effective critical healing; and refreshes Ward of Healing triage.
- Unifies direct-healing paths, corrects Mortal Strike healing reduction, hardens delayed casts and HoT messages, and repairs guard interception ownership.
Recovery, world, and operations
- Adds ranked restorative food to the shared recovery scheduler, standardizes food and mana-water stock, lowers consumable prices, and reduces unassisted Meditation to a minimal Mana trickle.
- Improves school guidance, city and area descriptions, quest-target searches, world-map entrances, starter equipment eligibility, advice, and help content.
- Adds a durable missing-help request queue and review/apply tooling.
- Adds Epic source simulation, pending-award inspection, and hourly telemetry reporting for launch monitoring.
Launch posture
Epic master, global, area, fixed, and direct-item drops are enabled. Set content and Crest-based progression remain disabled so direct acquisition and delivery can be observed before the economy expands.
